Overview
This is the DSL modem used by DSL Extreme and other ISPs. This topic refers to the use of this modem under DSL extreme. Other ISPs have been known to reflash the firmware on the modem and limit the features. No official BroadMax? firmware is known to exist. Attached to this document is the official manual for it. It seems like a good modem as I have had very little trouble with the many I have worked with.Web page access.
Even in bridge mode, the router has a web admin page running at 192.168.0.1/24. The default username and password is "broadmax". The modem has a handy connection diagnostics page that shows the upload and download speed along with connection type. (G.DMT)Default DSL Extreme settings.
